Eligibility differs by account type, so use the checklist that matches the account requesting the payout. Every checklist item must be true at the moment the request is reviewed: if any single item fails, the payout is denied until it is corrected.

Who this is for: Sim-Funded traders requesting payouts, and support staff verifying payout requests.

Account Lineup Note (Effective July 1, 2026 at Market Close)

The FFN funded lineup changed on July 1, 2026 at market close.

\n
\nGoing forward: Standard MAX and STEADY are the funded products available for new purchase. STEADY replaces Express MAX.
\n
\nExisting accounts: OG Funded and Express MAX Funded are still covered below because accounts funded before the cutoff keep their original rules and continue to operate normally. They are simply closed to new purchases.
\n

How the Consistency Rule Resets After Each Payout

This applies to every account with a consistency rule: OG Funded, Standard MAX Funded, and Express MAX Funded. STEADY funded accounts have no consistency rule (see the STEADY note below).

The consistency rule looks at how your profit is distributed, not at your money. After your first withdrawal, the consistency rule counts only the profit you earn after your last payout, not the account's entire lifetime profit.

\n
The consistency profit tally resets to $0: your money does not. For the consistency calculation only, the total-profit figure restarts at $0 after each withdrawal and counts up again from your next trade. You do not lose your buffer or any profits you have already made; your account balance is unaffected. This reset is purely how the consistency rule measures your next payout cycle.
\n
Best day does NOT reset. Your highest single-day net P&L on record carries forward and continues to be used in every future consistency calculation.
\n

Because consistency % = best day P&L ÷ profit earned since your last payout, your consistency will read high at the start of a new cycle (your best day is unchanged while the profit tally has restarted). You simply need to build up new profit in the current cycle before consistency falls back to or below your account's threshold.

Example (Standard MAX, 40% threshold): Your best day on record is $1,000. When your new cycle begins, the consistency tally starts at $0 (your buffer and earlier profits stay in the account). To bring consistency to 40% or below, you need to accumulate at least $2,500 of profit in this cycle ($1,000 ÷ 40% = $2,500). On a 25% account, you would need $4,000 ($1,000 ÷ 25%).

Withdrawal Checklists by Account Type

Only profit earned since your last payout can be withdrawn. For your first payout, that is the profit earned since the account was funded. This applies to every Sim Funded account.

Standard MAX Funded: Withdrawal Checklist

\n
Buffer is fully built
\n
Account balance is $500+ above the buffer level
\n
Consistency is 40% or below
\n
Withdrawal amount is at least $500
\n
Withdrawal amount does not exceed the per-account cap
\n
Cumulative withdrawal (all accounts) does not exceed $10,000 per payout
\n

Worked example: $50,000 Standard MAX Funded account

\n
Buffer required: $2,000 → account climbed from $50,000 to $52,000, so the buffer is fully built.
\n
Current balance: $53,500 → that is $1,500 above the $52,000 buffer level, which satisfies \"$500+ above buffer.\"
\n
Consistency: best day $1,200 ÷ profit since last payout $3,000 = 40% → at the limit, so it passes.
\n
Request a $1,000 withdrawal → it is at least $500, within the per-account cap, and within the $10,000 cumulative cap. Balance after payout: $52,500 (stays above the buffer).
\n

STEADY Funded (2-Day Pass): Withdrawal Checklist

\n
Buffer is fully built (only profit above the buffer is withdrawable)
\n
5 winning days accumulated in the current payout cycle
\n
Net rule: account balance is above the balance left after the previous payout
\n
Withdrawal amount is at least $500
\n
Withdrawal amount does not exceed the per-account cap for the account size and payout number
\n
Cumulative withdrawal (all accounts) does not exceed $10,000 per payout (this global cap overrides the per-account caps)
\n

STEADY note: no consistency rule on the funded phase. The 52% consistency rule applies to the STEADY evaluation only. On funded STEADY accounts there is no consistency rule and no daily loss limit. Instead, each payout cycle requires a fresh count of 5 winning days, and the net rule requires the balance to climb above the prior post-payout level before the next request.

Buffer and Winning-Day Amounts by Size

\n

\n
Account Size
\n
Buffer (Max Drawdown)
\n
Winning Day = Min Daily Profit
\n

\n
\n
\n
$25,000
\n
$1,200
\n
$100
\n
\n
\n
$50,000
\n
$2,000
\n
$150
\n
\n
\n
$100,000
\n
$3,200
\n
$200
\n
\n
\n
$150,000
\n
$4,700
\n
$250
\n
\n
\n
$250,000
\n
$5,500
\n
$350
\n
\n
\n

Per-Account Payout Caps by Size

\n

\n
Account Size
\n
Max Payout (payouts 1–3)
\n
Max Payout (4th payout+)
\n

\n

$25,000

$750

$900

$50,000

$1,000

$1,250

$100,000

$1,500

$1,750

$150,000

$1,750

$2,000

$250,000

$2,000

$2,500

\n

Accounts purchased before October 22, 2026 and not reset since keep the payout caps they were purchased with (Article 5.3).

Promotion Review to the FFN Institution (All Sim Funded Accounts)

A Promotion Review is triggered by your 4th payout request on one Sim Funded account, or your 10th payout request since your last Promotion Review (counting all of your accounts). Whichever comes first triggers the review.

When a Promotion Review is triggered:

All of your Sim Funded accounts are closed, whatever the outcome of the review. Your evaluations stay open.

Until the review is complete, and for as long as you hold an FFN Institution account if you are promoted, you cannot request a Sim Funded payout, reset a Sim Funded account or buy a Sim Funded account directly (such as Skip the Eval).

You can keep buying, trading, resetting and passing evaluations, and BOGO, discount codes and other promotions apply to them. An evaluation you pass during the review is placed in your queue, and its Sim Funded account activates after the review unless you move to the FFN Institution. While you hold an FFN Institution account, a passed evaluation stays in your queue.

The payout you requested is not cancelled. It is processed on its own under the normal Sim Funded payout rules.

The Promotion Review has two parts:

Trading Performance Review: the FFN Risk Team reviews your profitability, drawdown, position sizing, trading frequency, consistency, markets traded, trading behavior, risk-adjusted performance and overall risk profile. No single metric guarantees promotion.

1:1 Risk Interview: a one-on-one conversation with an FFN Live Risk Manager about your strategy, preferred markets, typical position sizing, holding periods, approach to drawdowns, risk controls, trading schedule and market conditions. The interview is an internal FFN capital-allocation process. It is not investment advice, trading advice or individualized financial advice.

Every Promotion Review results in one of three outcomes:

Promoted to the FFN Institution: you accept your promotion in your dashboard, sign the Live Trading Agreement, and receive an FFN Institution account funded with $3,000 of real FFN capital (see Article 4.3).

Approved for promotion, and you decline: you receive an additional $1,000 transition payout to your wallet and may immediately restart from the beginning of the FFN evaluation process. Declining does not prevent you from qualifying for a future Promotion Review.

Not promoted: you may immediately restart from the beginning of the FFN evaluation process. No $1,000 transition payout applies.

Your Sim Funded accounts close in every outcome: being promoted, declining promotion and not being selected all close them. If you are approved, you choose your path in your dashboard. After each Promotion Review, your payout count toward the next review resets to zero.

Worked example: $50,000 STEADY Funded account (first payout)

\n
Buffer required: $2,000 → account climbed from $50,000 to $52,000, so the buffer is built. Only profit above $52,000 is withdrawable.
\n
Current balance: $53,500 → $1,500 of withdrawable profit above the buffer.
\n
Winning days: 5 accumulated this cycle, each at least $150 net.
\n
Net rule: this is the first payout, and $53,500 is above the $52,000 starting level → passes.
\n
Request a $1,000 withdrawal → at least $500, within the $1,500 cap for payouts 1–3 on a 50K account, and within the $10,000 global cap. Balance after payout: $52,500.
\n
Next cycle: the balance must climb above $52,500 (net rule) and accumulate another 5 winning days before the next payout can be requested.
\n

OG Funded: Withdrawal Checklist (Existing Accounts)

OG accounts are no longer sold. Existing OG accounts keep their rules.

\n
Account balance is above the Minimum Threshold
\n
Consistency is 40% or below
\n
Withdrawal amount is at least $500
\n
Cumulative withdrawal (all accounts) does not exceed $10,000 per payout
\n

Worked example: $50,000 OG Funded account

\n
Minimum Threshold: $50,000 → the balance must stay above this level.
\n
Current balance: $53,000 → that is $3,000 above the Minimum Threshold.
\n
Consistency: best day $1,000 ÷ profit since last payout $3,000 = 33% → at or below 40%, so it passes.
\n
Request a $2,000 withdrawal → at least $500 and within the $10,000 cumulative cap. Balance after payout: $51,000 (stays above the Minimum Threshold).
\n

Express MAX Funded: Withdrawal Checklist (Existing Accounts; Replaced by STEADY for New Purchases)

\n
Buffer is fully built
\n
Account balance is $500+ above the buffer level
\n
Consistency is 25% or below
\n
5 winning days accumulated since the last withdrawal (or since funded)
\n
Withdrawal amount is at least $500
\n
Withdrawal amount does not exceed the per-account cap
\n
Cumulative withdrawal (all accounts) does not exceed $10,000 per payout
\n

Worked example: $50,000 Express MAX Funded account

\n
Buffer required: $2,000 → account climbed from $50,000 to $52,000, so the buffer is fully built.
\n
Current balance: $53,500 → that is $1,500 above the $52,000 buffer level, which satisfies \"$500+ above buffer.\"
\n
Consistency: best day $700 ÷ profit since last payout $3,000 = 23% → at or below 25%, so it passes.
\n
Winning days: 5 accumulated since the last payout, each at least $150 net.
\n
Request a $1,000 withdrawal → at least $500, within the per-account cap, and within the $10,000 cumulative cap. Balance after payout: $52,500 (stays above the buffer). The winning-day count then resets to 0 for the next cycle.
\n

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I take my first payout?
Once every item on your account's checklist above is true at the same time. For MAX, STEADY, and Express MAX accounts that means the buffer is fully built and the balance is above it; for OG accounts it means the balance is above the Minimum Threshold.

Why does my consistency look worse right after a payout?
Because the consistency rule only counts profit earned since your last payout: the profit tally restarts at $0 at the start of each new cycle while your best day stays on record. Consistency = best day ÷ profit since your last payout, so it reads high until you build new profit this cycle. You do not lose any money when this resets: your buffer and prior profits stay in the account; only the consistency calculation restarts. This does not apply to STEADY funded accounts, which have no consistency rule.

Does my best day reset when I withdraw?
No. Your best day P&L is permanent and carries forward into every future consistency calculation. Only the consistency profit tally restarts after a payout: your buffer and account balance are not affected.

Why was my STEADY payout denied even though I had a green day?
STEADY uses the net rule: your balance must climb above the level left after your previous payout before you can request the next one. A single minimum winning day that only recovers a prior loss does not qualify: the balance must be net positive above the post-payout level, and you must have 5 winning days in the cycle.

How many payouts can I take on a STEADY account?
Your 4th payout request on the account triggers a Promotion Review to the FFN Institution, and so does your 10th payout request since your last Promotion Review (counting all of your accounts). The payout you requested is processed on its own under the normal Sim Funded payout rules. The Promotion Review section above explains what happens next.

Why can't I withdraw the full amount above my buffer?
Each account size has a per-account cap, and total withdrawals across all of your accounts are capped at $10,000 per payout, whichever is lower.
","summary":null,"labels":[],"folderId":"939149e9-9638-458c-8e17-495e245d75ca","isPublished":true,"isPromoted":false,"sourceUrl":null,"updatedAt":"2026-10-22T02:51:16.460Z","path":[{"id":"2521890a-14b6-4a69-82da-6e32b7b21c76","slug":"payouts-and-withdrawals","title":"Payouts and Withdrawals"},{"id":"939149e9-9638-458c-8e17-495e245d75ca","slug":"article-5-2-payout-eligibility-by-account-type","title":"Article 5.2: Payout Eligibility by Account Type"}]}}}
